• Divorce Mediation

Several counties throughout the State of Alabama are mandatory mediation counties. This is because of the large number of cases on the Court’s docket and the time it takes a case to be heard in a trial. Mediation involves a neutral party known as a mediator who will work with your attorney and the opposing attorney in order to settle any issues involved prior to proceeding to a trial. Mediations can take place either at the courthouse or through a private mediation. Attorney Richard Perry has represented hundreds of cases that have involved mediation; several of which have been settled without needing to go to trial. Mediation is often times very helpful in that it can save clients thousands of dollars in legal fees and expenses.
